How to publish in IEEE-SEM journal
The following information will support you if you need further information or help in publishing a journal article with IEEE-SEM. We are committed to providing you with the resources and advice you need to succeed in submitting your research results and getting them published as smoothly and quickly as possible.
Before you start...
If you plan to submit an article to one of our journals, or have any questions during the publication process, this helpdesk (ieeesem.journal@gmail.com) will guide you through manuscript submission, production and the services you can expect after your article's publication.
Authors should submit only papers that have been carefully proof read and polished. Before submission please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template . This will ensure fast processing and publication. Acceptance or rejection notification will be sent to all authors. The IEEE-SEM invites contribution in the following categories:
- 1. Original research
- 2. Survey/Review articles, providing a comprehensive review on a scientific topic.
- 3. Fast Communications: Short, self-contained articles on ongoing research.
- 4. Technical Notes

Electronic supplementary material
Electronic supplementary material (animations, movies, audio, large original data, etc.) can add dimension to the article, as certain information cannot be printed or is more convenient in electronic form.
IEEE-SEM accepts electronic multimedia files (animations, movies, audio, etc.) and other supplementary files to be published online along with an article.
You can email supplement material after you online submission of research paper, stating the Paper-ID in email.
IEEE-SEM review process usually take 07-10 days, depending on the number of papers available for review. You will get the review results within next 07-10 days after manuscript submission.
Rights, permissions and licensing
Author retains all the rights of published research paper or invention, IEEE-SEM holds the right to publish and index the research for worldwide visibility.
Full monetory benefit (funds) for the research work / invention will be given to author/co-authors of the published/patented research work.
All the requests related to reprint/use/purchase the research work will be directed to author. Author has full right to take final decision on his/her research work.
